Neutral Dining Room

Lisa’s clients recently moved into a new build home from out-of-state leaving their old furniture behind. They turned to experienced interior designer Lisa Rice to create a custom dining room they would love for years to come. The clients wanted a look of casual elegance, yet gravitated towards a style of modern farmhouse so we selected a dining table and chairs with a wire brushed medium wood finish that would also ship out quickly.

Project Overview:

The dining room is best described as rustic modern with a sense of casual elegance. The gold and beige striated wallpaper adds a beautiful backdrop for the arched mirror giving the room a great focal point. The embroidered ogee fabric adds to the hint of elegance in the draperies that frame the view from their bay window. The color scheme flows seamlessly into the adjacent kitchen. The completed room achieved the balance between casual and elegant dining and our client could not be more pleased, hosting small gatherings to share stories over a glass of wine!
