Behind the Stairs

The client has a waterfront home so a coastal palette of blues, creams and neutrals was used throughout the home. The dining room and spiral staircase area are the first things you see when you come into the house, so it was made into a perfect statement space behind the stairs!

Project Overview:

A lot of visual elegance was packed into this small dining area and spiral staircase nook. A mix of rich wood tones, leather, and velvety plush textures, with a soft gold, teal and cream palette creates a beautiful contemporary dining area.

A contemporary style modern birch wood table with soft gold metal legs was chosen for the dining table. The table has a self storing leaf and was the perfect size to accommodate six in the space with room to expand. The dining chairs are upholstered in a luxurious blue green velvet on both the seats and seat backs for a comfortable and elegant style.

A stunning 24-light gold chandelier provided instant impact and the one solid wall in the space was adorned with an oversized gold and teal abstract piece of artwork.
