The couple wanted to finally update their master bedroom and add some fun and excitement to an otherwise boring space. After decorating the rest of their spaces, it was finally time for the master bedroom.
Cobalt and Gold
Shades of cobalt, indigo and gray make a bold statement and add some fun into the space. A pair of elegant bright cobalt lamps with gold swirls had been selected a few years prior for the space. It was finally time to incorporate them into the new design plan. A new custom upholstered, button tufted King bed in an oatmeal linen with brass nail heads provided a perfect focal point in juxtaposition with the white-leather-upholstered nightstands also with brass nail heads.
When limited space prevented the use of identical nightstands in the room, the existing oval-shaped nightstand was reupholstered to complement the new white leather Bachelor’s chest. A faux snake-skin white leathery fabric was selected for the reupholstery of the nightstand as well as to replace the white faux fur which was the original cover on the seats of the small benches by the foot of the bed. Custom drapery panels in a bright floral print enhance the look of the room, softens the space and gently frames the blackout Roman shades.
Bright white flower metal art add a three dimensional vibe next to blue coral prints on the focal wall. Cobalt and gold accents and lots of colorful pillows complete the look.
