Lisa goes to France

“I had the opportunity to travel recently throughout the Provence region of France. With unparalleled design expeditions, I was immersed in a region that has inspired thousands of artisans.

One of the highlights of the trip was a tour of Les Olivades, a renowned French textile house celebrated for its mastery of traditional fabric printing techniques.

In contrast to the beautiful countryside in Provence, my few days in Paris were spent walking the streets of Le Marais, Saint Germain and the Latin Quarter.”

40th Annual
Design Conference
Nashville 2024

Lisa recently attended the Decorating Den Interiors 40th Annual Design Conference. The conference is a wonderful mixture of awards for design or sales, training opportunities and a keynote speech this year from interior designer Celerie Kemble.

Celerie
Says

“In life as in design, it is not perfection you should be after. Your home should be like a loosely woven fabric of desires, memories, practical, notions and even compromises.”

It was also the perfect time to meet our national vendors who travel to the conference each year. The vendors set up a private Design Market within the conference facilities at Gaylord Opryland in Nashville, where this year’s conference was held. At the market, Lisa was able to sit on furniture, try out different cushion options, see new fabric introductions for upholstery and draperies, and meet with new vendors that have recently been added to the ever growing network of suppliers.

At the Awards Gala, Lisa received the Director’s Award for her 2023 sales.
