Powder Room Makeover

My client had been in her townhome for 17 years and still had the builder grade paint on the walls and the original vanity with countertop which made her powder room feel very outdated. Since it’s such a small room, my client was willing to consider a patterned wall covering.

Location: Raleigh, NC

Project Overview:

We wanted to continue with the neutral color palette found in the primary living space and provide contrast to the new black leathered granite countertop.

We fell in love with a sophisticated, nature-inspired cork wall covering that combines earthy, neutral tones with a touch of metallic luxury. The cork’s natural patterns and grains are visible in this wallcovering giving it a rich, organic texture. The pattern is a blossoming floral motif that gives the design a soft, organic feel. The metallic accents enhance the texture of the cork and add an elegant contrast to the natural material. The distinctive cork wall covering provides a beautiful backdrop for the abstract artwork. The contemporary brushstrokes provide harmony and complement the graceful, flowing blossoms of the serene garden-like atmosphere.
